Introduction

Welcome to the Commons Repository Library—the central hub where all finalized documents, resources, and contributions are stored and made accessible. This library connects our collaborative drafting process with permanent preservation, ensuring that every member can find, use, and cite materials with ease.

Search and Discovery

  • Search Bar: Use the search bar at the top of the page to locate documents by title, author, keyword, or DOI.
  • Enhanced Search: Powered by Relevanssi, the search engine indexes all repository entries, including Zenodo links and metadata.
  • Tips for Searching:
    • Use specific keywords (e.g., “Governance Framework” instead of “rules”).
    • Filter results by category for faster discovery.
    • Include author names if you’re looking for contributions from specific members.

Repository Categories

The library is organized into clear categories to make browsing intuitive:

  • Governance Documents Constitutions, frameworks, decision‑making protocols, and community agreements.
  • Legal & Compliance Resources Codes of conduct, privacy policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Operational Handbooks Workflows, communication protocols, and technical guides for daily collaboration.
  • Training & Support Materials FAQs, tutorials, onboarding guides, and educational resources.
  • Community Contributions Research papers, reports, creative outputs, and member‑generated resources.

Each category page contains a list of documents with links or embedded previews.

Each document entry should include:

  • Title: Clear and descriptive.
  • Authors: Credited contributors.
  • Summary: A short abstract or description.
  • DOI Link: Permanent identifier from Zenodo.
  • Embed Preview: Inline display of the document using Zenodo’s iframe embed code.

This also shows how the categories, search, and Zenodo embeds should be presented, with a practical example of what a document entry looks like in WordPress.
